Bi-directional midi from VCS

Hi there, I'm using a Kenton Killamix mini as a controller and am looking into making a global map so that I can map commonly generated controller names to it and will use 'learn' for others on a sound by sound basis. A question: is it possible to have bi-directional midi setup so that changes I make with the mouse are updated on the led encoder rings?

You could try this:

Edit>Preferences

Click Performance

External MIDI Controller: Select Echo MIDI

In that mode, moving a VCS fader that has been mapped to a MIDI controller number outputs that MIDI controller value.

OH! Why did I not see this before!!! I've spent hours creating, tweaking and copy pasteing a quite cumbersome MIDIOutputController layout for my Midi Fighter Twister. I'm so happy with this!!
After testing this out it seems that the "Echo MIDI" does not send initial values to my Twister when starting a sound. It can be done by loading a preset in VCS or with markers that load a preset in the timeline, but still my MIDIOutputController layout seems to work better as it seems to send the MIDI cc values when compiling a sound.
Thanks for the answer! Can't believe I missed it. Would be great if it sent initial values but not end of the world for me...
