OSC over internet

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to mess around with a colleague over the internet with Kyma and OSC, and I am considering forwarding a port from my modem/router to my Paca. This would be simpler than setting up a VPN or some other intermediate software. Is there any security risk in having Paca exposed to the internet? I am guessing there's nothing to log into or access, other than OSC, but I just want to make sure.

Thanks!

Should be ok if you limit it to port 8000.

No sense leaving all the ports exposed.

That was my intention, to just forward one port to the device. Thanks!
