      Hello!

I´d like to tweak the great FilterBank prototype in that way, that it is possible to scan the frequency while blending from one frequency to the other by using one potentiometer!

Since I learned that from the wonderful Fumana by Fraptools, I thought Kyma can do that of course as well! Unfortunately I couldn’t find the appropriate Expression to accomplish this.

This link explains perfect what it would need to implement this.Basically its “parametric scanning” (starts at 5:30): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eEl1cU2t8Y4

I´d  be thankful to get some hints!

      Greetings Martin

        Hi Martin,

Give this a try. (There are two Sounds: in one you control the center of the scan by hand; in the second one, the center is controlled by an LFO). Width is how much of the filterbank is included in the “notch”. BW controls the bandwidth of the filters in the filterbank.

        Have fun!

          Hello!

That´s really awesome what you created – more then I expected!

I´ll give it some visual tweaks and will upload it to the community library soon.

          Mille grazie!!!

          All the best from Germany

          Martin

(Btw: how long or better how fast did it take to write the code? 😉
