York University is looking for a dynamic and innovative composer/researcher with extensive industry experience who can galvanize the Department of Music in current and forward-looking compositional practices in the area of media scoring/sound design (e.g. scoring/sound for film, games, episodic television, transmedia; MIDI composition, orchestration, recording) with a critical understanding of modern scoring processes, both aesthetic and technological, as a component of an interactive, transdisciplinary arts practice.
