There is a Rand button for each stage (1-8). When you press a button, it sets the pitch, velocity, timbre, and duration of the corresponding stage to a random value.

!Interval controls the random deviation in pitch, !Swing controls the random deviation in duration. Durations are scaled to line up again at the start of each sequence (when looping).
