Paca connect with Motu UltraLite Hybrid?

Hello;

I had my Paca connected to 828 MKII and running Kyma 7 successfully before. I connect my MacAir to MKII via Firewire 400 using a thunderbolt adapter, then connect MKII to Paca (Firewire 400 to Firewire 800)

Now I want to switch to Motu UltraLite Hybrid for traveling...But the Motu Ultralite does not have two firewire ports to allow me to do the same daisy chain. I try to connect my MacAir to Paca directly (Thunderbolt to Fire 800), then connect  Paca to Motu Ultralite (Firewire 800 to Firewire 800). But my computer can not see the interface at all.

If I connect the MacAir to Muto Ultralite firectly (without Paca at all), I can see the Muto Ultralite from my MacAir.

I also try to uninstall all the Motu drivers then run Kyma, it is sitll not seeing the interface at all.

What should be the proper connects for Paca, Motu Ultralite and MACAir?

Any advices or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Mei-ling have you tried:
Mac --(thunderboltToFW)-->Pacarana
Pacarana (800 to 400 FW) --> UltraLite
On the back of my UltraLite Mk3 Hybrid , there is only one FW800, and one USB2 ports. There is no FW 400 at the back. I did try connect MAC-Paca / Paca-UltraLite, but can not see the interface either...
Do you have the power adapter connected to the Ultralite or are you powering the Ultralite from FireWire bus power?
yes, it is connected to the power adapter... Still can not get it work. Now I am wondering if the Ultralite is defected...
