How do I shut down the paca if it stops responding to the touch strip?

I may have been a bit hasty and turned the paca by holding a finger on the touch strip before it had finished calibrating. If I touch the white circle or the strip now I just get the message:

Scroll = Drag with finger
Select = Tap once
Back = Tap white circle

Holding a finger on the white circle just brings up that message and doesn't shut the paca down.

In Kyma I have tried initializing DSP from the DSP menu and that didn't help and I've  gone to the DSP Status window and clicked on the Halt control but still the Paca is on and not responding to the touch strip.

Is it safe to turn the power off if the DSP is halted? How can I shut down the Paca?

I found the answer here:

http://kyma.symbolicsound.com/starting-and-stopping-kyma/

Which is to go into Kyma preferences and enable the shutdown on exit option, then quit kyma.

If the panel calibration is interrupted at start up, the panel will not have an accurate idea of the location of your finger, so it will not know that your finger is on the circle.

The front panel continuously calibrates so, as long as there are no objects directly in front of the panel, it will gradually (over the course of 10 minutes or so) learn the proper calibration and react properly.

In answer to your question: As long as the Pacarana is not updating its firmware, there would be no problem simply turning off the power.
