Open kyma sounds from the finder

Question

I opened a kyma sound from the finder, I don't recall being able to do that before on kyma x 10.8.5 but on kyma 7/yosemite it works.!!!

Just as a clarification, you can open Sound files (not individual Sounds).  Actually, it has been true for many years in Kyma X, but glad you like it! :)
