Remove all the embedding

Question

Hello, may I "remove al the embedding" from one VCS forever? I mean, once removed them, is it possible (in a way) to save that VCS?

In the Sound editor, select the rightmost Sound and play it. Then, in the VCS, click the gear drop down menu at the top of the window, and select "Remove all embedding" and then click Yes in the following dialog:
