Map midi notes to VCS widget

I think the answer is no but it is possible to map midi notes to VCS widgets? I'm exploring purchasing a digital mixer (A&H SQ5) to use as a mixer but also a control surface for Kyma (I'm aware I'll still need separate audio interface for Kyma). The mixer sends ccs on faders but the buttons are hardwired to send midi note on and offs.

You could use the Prototype called TransformEventValues from VCS to KBD control and check the ShowInVCS box in the parameters.
