Pacarana stuck at "initializing"

I'm not entirely sure what happened, but I downloaded a firmware update for the Pacarana today. Everything seemed fine but it won't start up. It is stuck cycling between "initializing" and [.....Loading:   -12] I suspect it is bad news.....?
