probleme with MIDI from MOTU track 16

Could you please give more information about what the problem is and describe how you have everything connected? What device(s) are you sending the MIDI (to and from)? Thanks!

MIDI PROBLEM WITH KYMA

WHAT HAPPENS ?

keyboard M-audio to Protools MIDI track : OK
OUT MIDI track to track 16 MIDI port channel 1 active but signal ??
KYMA DSP STATUS : audio I/O : track 16 OK
MIDI I/O : track 16 OK
KYMA clock source : internal (as first reference, but optical seems to works also ?)
CONFIGURE MIDI : default channel 1
show MIDI messages : NOTHING !! no MIDI SIGNAL it seems.

TES PROTOTYPE
MIDI VOICE from MIDI file :
OK with a MIDI file recorded and exported with PROTOOLS
source MIDI INPUT : do not work.

There is a software or wire problem, that i do not understand.
No MIDI signal come in the KYMA…

Thanks for the details!

Even though ProTools shows the Track16 as a MIDI destination, the Pacarana is controlling the Track16 (not PT). Do you have a 5-pin MIDI output on your Mac HD I/O? Could you route MIDI by a cable from that interface to the Track16?

Another approach might be to use Delora software's Kyma Connect to create a virtual MIDI destination on your Mac that can forward MIDI to your Pacarana over Ethernet.
