How feasible is it to program “MIDI utilities” sounds in Kyma?

I'm wondering if it's possible/feasible to create, within Kyma, a series of "MIDI utilies:" Here's what I'm thinking about.

1) one that would funtion similar to a combination of the "stripnote" and "flush" objects in Max.

2) one that would record and store a seqence of MIDI notes and controller data for later playback, triggered by a specified MIDI event or a TimeLine.

Are there resources that could help me implement these ideas.

For 2) you could fudge something by recording midi control data using CapytalkToSound (or a number of them) to an audio file and then play back the file(s) using a SoundtoGlobalController(s). So basically encoding/decoding.

Does anyone have thoughts on the first idea.  FYI: Working together, the Max [stripnote] object filters out note off messages while the Max [flush] object keeps track of notes that are currently being sustained, so that they can be turned off at some later point in time.
Page 261 of Kyma X has an example of Capytalk used to track key downs for an arpeggiator. This isn’t quite what you need but might get you started. The SetReset capytalk message might also help - that can be used as a latch.
