I think so too. I know what KymaConnect is and how great it helps you communicate with Kyma. Irreplaceable!
The interesting thing about the error message of the operating system was that it was like a virus warning where you could tell Apple right away that it was malware.
Now, if a KymaConnect user mistakenly declares the installer to be malicious during installation, does this perhaps have a negative effect on other KymaConnect installations of other users? I hope that this is not so bad. When I use the current Beta-installer for reinstallation, I get the error message at the end:
“kymaconnect_agent_stop” damages your computer.I have a problem with the current beta version under macOS 10.15.6. Suddenly after starting my computer I get an error message in the system settings that KymaConnect cannot be loaded. Yesterday everything was still running fine.
Could it be that my switch from bash to zsh login shell has something to do with this?I’ll try the wormhole setup. I have a Neatgear Switch GS105v5. I could try that with this.
Furthermore I have realized your suggestion #2 for my iPad Lemur. Using the Daemon Mac client I have direct access to all MIDI ports (including the IAC busses) and route MIDI to the Pacarana and IAC busses. This works fine without using the 0-7 daemons. Thank you!
It’s working very well so far. Thank you for the update!
I have one more feature request and one more question:I work with the Lemur Daemon, whose ports I specified in KymaConnect. When starting my Mac I have to set these ports in KymaConnect every time. Is it possible to change this in version 2 of KymaConnect?
You once asked in Q&A about the Wormhole setup in Kyma7+. Are there any new findings in using KymaConnect?
Thanks, Knut
I just noticed that sometimes my Ext.2 (To External MIDI) is not displayed correctly, but it works. Please have a look at the screen shot.

The IAC Sends are really still from old times, where I did a little more complex MIDI pros.
Now I use much more OSC 🙂So I could do without the single IAC bus in “Ext. out ” if I just want to separate the reception of KymaConnect in Ableton Live according to MIDI channels.
IPv6 was actually set to “off”. I have now set it to “automatic” and repeated step 3. Only this time I also disabled my Ext. in and outs in KymaConnect.
It works KymaConnect is fully connected according to the status display:)Thank you very much for the description.
I have just installed Kyma Connect 2 and observed the following in my Wormhole set:
If you follow step 2, there is a connection from and to the Pacarana but Kyma Connected is on yellow. (See screen shot)If I follow step 3, then no connection is set up at all.

You must be logged in to view attached files.Hello everybody,
I would also like to offer my help to test the new Kyma 2 in a Wormhole setup consisting of 2 Pacaranas.
Currently I’m working in a set with KymaConnect 1 under macOS 10.14.6, which Doug was very helpful in setting up 🙂 The two Pacaranas are connected via ports A (A->A) and B (B->B) using Cat6 cables. I also connected my Mac Mini to the Ethernet input of one of the Pacaranas using another Cat cable. This Pacarana also has the audio interface and is also connected to the Mac Mini via Firewire. -
