hello people,

I would like to know if there is a way on the sequencer to play notes longer than 1 single step, or if there is the possibilty to stick 2 or more notes together.

thanks for your help,

d

Yes, if you use the KeyDowns field to trigger each note and set the Polyphony of the StepSequencer high enough to allow for overlapping notes.

I understand the Polyphony issue, but I still don't understand how to make a longer note (for example a 4 step note).
is there something related with the legato?
Please look at the Prototype named "StepSequencer Duration Sequence" as an example of an alternative way to do this.  In the Durations field, you could put "4" rather than "1" for that step.
(The other way I mentioned, allows decay times to overlap new start times, but it doesn't give a gate of 4-steps duration).
now, I got it clearer. thanks.
