Cannot connect audio interface

Question

very new to this.  Have the pacarana connected to macbook via a thunderbolt firewire adapter.  Connected Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6 interface to pacarana via one of the usb ports.  Pacarana does not seem to register it is connected.  DSP status only provides "silent device" option, and I get message that no audio interface i connected.  what am i missing here?  Thanks.

Hi Michael,

The Pacarana works with class compliant USB audio devices with a maximum of 2 inputs and outputs at 48 kHz sample rate so it's unlikely that the Komplete Audio 6 would work.  For more channels and higher sample rates, you would have to use a FireWire audio interface.  Here's a list of compatible audio interfaces (USB and FireWire).
