Does the sample rate affect the real time performance of my Paca ?

For example, if I lower the sample rate to 48 khz, will I be able to play more complex sounds than at 96 khz?

Yes, the sample rate directly influences the real time performance!

The total number of Paca(rana) clock cycles available for computing an output sample value is directly related to the duration of a sample (which is the inverse of the sample rate). This means that the total number of available clock cycles doubles when you halve the sample rate.

Thank you!   I know the answer seems a bit obvious, but so far everything about my experience with Kyma has been far from obvious. ;-)
