Do the !Finger events work simultaneously with GIMP?

0 votes
I was recently inspired by the Kyma and GIMP video on twitter and thought I would try something similar.

I can control a sound in Kyma with the !PenDown and draw simultaneously in GIMP but a part of my sound is controlled by !FingerX and I lose that control in Kyma when drawing in GIMP.

So here's my question: Is there a way to keep my !FingerX controlling part of the sound in Kyma while drawing with the Wacom pen in GIMP?

Thanks for any thoughts or suggestions!

Kyma will receive and process the touch events whether or not Kyma is the front application if you set the Touch Controls Cursor preference to Yes.

You may have to use the Wacom control application to keep the touch from interfering with the pen control of the mouse pointer.
