ADAT routing issues

ADAT question: I'm routing from Pacarana to Motu Track16 by Firewire, then Track16 to RME UFX+ over ADAT. Though I'm sending multi-channel audio through optical, RME is only receiving channel 1. Any thoughts? I've done a loop on the Track16 of running cable from ADAT out and back into it's ADAT In, playing audio from Reaper. In this state, it is sending / receiving the correct number of channels. Same goes for RME. So it seems the issue is with Kyma / Motu connection.  The output routing settings push outputs 1 - 8 through ADAT Out 1 - 8.

Track16 was setup following the guide on Symbolic Sound website, for using Track16 both with Kyma and as a computer interface. Maybe I'm missing something?

Hi Jake,
In the DSP Status window, Configuration, Route Outputs opens a Matrix of checkboxes. How do you have your Kyma outputs routed to the Track16 outputs?
Thanks for the reply, I responded to both comments below.

Have you tried changing the routing in Kyma?

I have 8 channel I/O ADAT routing between TCelectronic Impact Twin (on Kyma) and Metric Halo MIO2882 (for mixing mac, kyma and mics to outputs). What I discovered is that the routing matrix for Impact Twin in Kyma is not setup correctly. This might be an issue between TCnear DSP mixer and Kyma or just Kyma, I haven't had time to figure it out.

I realised that the Kyma output arrangement in the Configuration matrix of Kyma do not correspond correctly to the signal in MIO2882 ADAT I/O.  I managed to get the channels right after trying out different combinations in Kyma's input/output matrix.

Thanks for the response! I found that the issue had to do with setting sample rate from 96 to 48. While hypothetically transmitting 96khz would still allow 4 channels of output, it had the impact of sending only a single channel out from Kyma. I also initialize the Kyma output settings once per startup, otherwise it will be mute / single channel. Otherwise, the routing is correctly mapped in Kyma's input/output matrix between Kyma and the Track16
