Unable to use !KeyDown with midi keyboard

Hi everyone,

I am not sure if I am doing something incorrectly, but I am unable to trigger using !KeyDown using my USB midi keyboard. I am trying to use !KeyDown in the "gate" field of SumOfSines. Kyma's DSP status window does flash an M when I press a key or move a slider, and I am able to use my device's sliders to control VCS parameters. Kyma's fake keyboard does still work with !KeyDown, just not my real midi device. Is there something I may be missing? Thanks.

Edit: Same problem occurs with existing sounds in the sound browser.

In the DSP Status Window, click Configure and select MIDI. Here you can check that the Default Input Channel is the same as the channel on which your keyboard is sending MIDI output.

Then click Show MIDI Messages. When you play the keyboard, what do you see in the Event Log?
