velocity values in sample header

Hi!
For some reason, sample header does not remember velocity vales that I write in it.
When I reopen the sound, base pitch is as I stated, but velocity values are 0 again
Am I doing something wrong?

Could you please tell us what format your sample file is in? Was it WAVE?

Yes, it was "wav".
I converted it to "aiff", and that solved the problem.

I'm using MediaHuman Audio Converter for this (batch converting format).
Any, maybe better solution?
