Can we produce quad binaural in Kyma?

Its not a format I have experimented with at all, but I was reading about it here
https://medium.com/cinematicvr/how-to-take-advantage-of-samsungvrs-quad-binaural-audio-format-for-360-video-66085dac1d61
and noticed that the SphericalPanner Class does seem to have a quad button. Is that what it is for?

One step futher there is the SphericalPanner Quad.
This one is the same as SphericalPanner but with the Quad button activated.
left/right,up/down and front/back panning.
