Are there any mono gain prototypes?

I got a little confused whilst making a mono prototype, and wanted to be sure there would be no unnecessary duplication of channels /  process.

  • Is this something I should worry about?
  • Is there any reason why I should not make a mono level encapsulation to please myself?
  • Is there anything magic happening in the existing Gain / Level prototypes that I would be missing? Can't imagine what..

Vague Guess: It only uses a fraction of DSP, and percievably cuts out a bunch of confusion with people making mono sounds when they wanted stereo?

Edit: I made myself a mono level control Encapsulation. I am pleased to report that my pacarana did not blow up.

Edit, Edit: Ahh, but my sound will only accept one sound as input. Is there an easy way to change that?
