How do I do variable smoothing on a pasted Sound in a SoundToGlobalController?

Question

I've pasted the output of a sound into a STGC and I want to smooth it by a variable amount...

 

 

and I'm getting an error:

 

but the following expression that doesn't use a pasted sound doesn't give an error:

 

 

Why am I getting the error with the pasted sound?

You have found a bug in the implementation of smooth: This has been fixed for the next update to Kyma, available in a day or so. Thanks!
