Pacarana is not initializing sound engine after the latest update

Hi,

Just updated my Pacarana firmware and Kyma. After the reboot of Pacarana and starting up Kyma the sound engine does not initilaze. This never ocured me before. I did several time a restart of everything, no success. I am getting this error:

After pressing reload Kyma tryes to initilize the sound engine with no success. After doing it for several times I press cancel then Kyma starts up but without working DSP.

What is going on? Did anybody else encountered the same problem?

Thanks,

Robert

For update;
After a while the DSP started up and worked fine (Carla's voice on startup was stuttering kkkkkKyma). Then for test I restarted again and the problem persisted. Now I takes me 5-6 restarts to get everything working fine.
Hi Robert, could you please try starting Kyma with your audio interface switched off? Once in Kyma you can play Clicks and check the oscilloscope to see if it is working.
Also, could you please try starting with fresh preferences? To do this, start Kyma with caps-lock key down; keep checking See other options until you see 'reset preferences'. Then power off Pacarana and audio interface. Start Kyma first, then turn on the audio interface.
Thanks for the fast response!
Without the audio interface the Clicks worked fine. Then I did reset the preferences and after reboot and Kyma startup first and then Motu everything works fine.
I repeated the startup sequence this time with Motu first on and then Pacarana and Kyma. Everything works fine now.
Thank You for being helpful!

Unfortunately the problem persists. This morning I'v got the same error. Even with starting without audio interface on, just after reseting the preferences and reboot everything started up.
Which OS version are you running on your host computer? Thanks.
Here my Pacarana has to startup completely(!) first.
Then I start the Kyma software otherwise I have the same thing.
My host computer is a Mac mini running Mojave 10.14.6 with Motu 828 mk3 connected with firewire.
I always start up my Motu completely then Pacarana completely and then Kyma.
The latest update fixed this startup issue.
Thanks!

Thanks for testing to confirm the new update, Robert. If anyone else experiences this behavior, please download and install the 4 July 2020 update to Kyma 7.
