What does 'ON' mean?

In the AmplitudeEnvelopeFromSpectrum prototype, in the ReleaseTIme parameter of the Sample that is acting as the time index, is the expression 'ON'.

What does that do? It seems to evaluate as a large duration (exactly two years... well not a sidereal years, but 730 days).

Does 'ON' mean 'the longest possible time in Kyma'?
