Kyma (mostly) freezes on startup

Question

2019 MacBook Pro 19", OS 10.15.7.  Updated Kyma and Pacarana firmware October 14, 2021.  Kyma 7+ connected via ethernet.  Behringer FCA610 connected to the Pacarana via Firewire.  Everything ran fine on October 14 after the software and firmware update, but today, October 15, Kyma freezes on startup.  I have tried unplugging everything, tried on two different Pacaranas, swapped cables, etc.  

Kyma appears to startup fine for a few seconds, but stops with only the Prototype, Sound Browser, and DSP Status windows open.  The status windo only displays memory.  The popup window informing me that no audio interface has been selected also appears.  I can click on that and it goes away.  I can click on and move windows around.  I cannot click on any sounds, move any scrollers, or use any of the menu items other than selecting windows.

Please reset the Kyma Preferences by starting Kyma with caps lock key down.

It does not appear to be frozen, but it may be that you quit Kyma yesterday with an open file that was stored on a network drive that is no longer present.
