Is it normal to have to register, re-install and upgrade everytime you use Kyma 7?

I just got my Ristretto this week.  I have gone throught the install far to many times.  While not always, much of the time when I open Kyma 7+ I have to reregister, wait 20-30 minutes to reinstall, then get told I'm on an old version, then upgrade, then it works.  I also think I'm losing my work, but I'm too new at this platform to be sure what'd going on.  Not a computer newbie, but I've never had an experience like this - ever.  Might be that I'm on Windows 11 - does the software work on win 11?

I finally got things stable.  I think the issue is related to the Windows Documents directory replicating to OneDrive under Windows 11.  I was getting errors whle it was replicating, and Kyma 7 also was giving errors on close (and it woudl get stuck).  

I did a complete uninstall and re-install, with my Kyma directory in a location besides Documents.  After a wasted weekend I think I'm good!

Thanks for letting us know about this issue. Apparently OneDrive under Windows 11 silently saves files destined for the Documents folder into the OneDrive folder instead. When Kyma goes to access a file in Documents, it doesn't find it there, which was the source of the problem. By default, Documents, Video, Music & Pictures are stored in the cloud on OneDrive.
We're adding a warning to the installation instructions to help people avoid this issue in the future. Thank you for alerting us to the issue!
