Timeline: Controller Transformations still affect Live Parameters

hi all,

I noticed that some Controller Transformation buttons in the Timeline (invert, reverse, etc.) still affect the Sound Parameters if switched from Automated to Live.

Let's say I draw some automation for a sound and apply some transformations to it (Invert is a good example) and then put the sound back in Live mode via the menu in the bottom left corner (and leave the "invert" transformation button pressed) the live control in the VCS influences the sound in a transformed way. If time-related transformations are involved (like Reverse) then the Timeline gives an error message and doesn't play.

If the button is switched off the controller in the VCS behaves as expected.

Is this inteded behaviour?

If a Tranformation button is pressed for a Live Parameter then an infinite series of  "unhandled exception" windows open that make the whole program unusable. This looks like a potential bug..

Thanks!

Yes, for the stateless transformations, that is intentional.

However, the unhandled exceptions are not; in the future, we'll ignore the transformation of a live control unless it's a stateless transformation that makes sense in real time.

Thanks!

Thank you and DOH!, I reached the tutorial point where a transformation is used on a Live controller.. should have got there before asking the first question..
