Hi, i was wondering if anyone has used these two together and more especially with the new pacamara. . Can you simply connect the osmose thru usb an have kyma recognise its mpe output? And even more specifically is their pressure weighted portamento  available to kyma? I remember readingn somewhere there are some patent clearance issues with vst's, so perhaps this is an issue here as well.

I don’t have one either but given it runs the EaganMatrix I’m pretty sure it will work. There are Kyma presets in the EaganMatrix that set up the Continuum to work well with Kyma. I’m pretty sure you can just tweak those and then save on the Osmose.
I have an Osmose and a Pacarama. I connected it midi works, of course, but I don't know what sounds in Kyma are MPE-responsive or how to do that in a new sound. Happy to test it out if you can point me in the right direction.
Thanks i just received my pacamara, i'll make a few tests and return :)

We don't have one so we haven't tested it yet, but if it's a compliant MPE implementation, then we would expect it to work when you plug it into one of the USB ports on the Pacamara.

I believe it is probably not compliant, they actually say it sends mpe+ signals. If x is pitch, channel pressure is y and aftertouch is z. So far i tried all osmose modes (classic keyboard, mpe, poly-afterouch) and none work reliably. I wonder if there is some feedback in the dsp status midi setup. Osmose shows up in three ports A, B and Osmose&Osmose but i i cannot select input and output separately (i wanted to keep midi out silent).
Could you please email us a screenshot of the DSP Status window with Osmose selected as the MIDI Input? For MPE to work, it is necessary for the Osmose to be both the MIDI Input and Output so the Pacamara can set the polyphony and pitchbend range of the Osmose.
Thanks for the reply, yes input/output are always the same (unless osmose&osmose selection is picked), i'll send you a printscreen. The keyboard will work in classic mode, it will receive note data and if i select pressure to be cc74 and aftertouch  poly aftertouch from the Osmose it will recognise that as well. However in Mpe mode it doesn't even recognise the note data. The data is vissible in the midi config window, but kyma doesn't seem to be able to do anything with it. Now i also have a Rolli Seaboard and that is plug and play in comparison which is why i am curious about Osmose issues.
Should be recognized now (Kyma 7.42f0)
