I'm not sure if this is a question or a feature request. Here's my use case: I'm on a Windows laptop with a Pacamara Ristretto connected. I'm running Ableton Live, sending audio to the Pacamara and back to Live to be recorded to tracks via the USB Host virtual audio cables. I have the Pacamara set as my ASIO audio interface in Live. That's all well and good, until I want to monitor the audio of this whole setup via the 3.5mm headphone output on the Pacamara. That isn't possible, as far as I can tell, because when the Pacamara is configured to use USB Host audio for the inputs and outputs, the headphone jack becomes unavailable.
Assuming I'm correct about that, I would like to propose a feature request to solve this issue: simply add some dedicated USB Host virtual audio cables which route directly to the headphone output and mic input. That way, in Live I could simply specify the correct audio channel for my Cue (headphone) output for monitoring, and it would also enable the similar use of the mic input.
I realize that I can always use an additional audio interface in place of the Pacamara, or set up an aggregate device with Asio4All (terrible!), but the goal here is to be able to travel light, with only my laptop and the Pacamara.
Am I missing something? Is this already possible? Or would this be feasible as a future update?
