How you can tell if a parameter field can update at the sample rate?

OK, I'll bite... the survey from SSC asked how you can tell whether a parameter field can update a pasted Sound at the sample rate.  But then they never gave the answer. So how can you tell?

Parameter fields that can update at the sample rate have an beige background (rather than a light blue background). If you paste a Sound into one of those fields and remove the L after the name, the parameter value will be updated at the sample rate.
