How to setup a MIDI controller with MOTU Mark II?

Hello, everyone;

I am trying to setup KYMA with a simple MIDI controller (M-Audio Keystation61), using MOTU Mark II as the interface. I connect the keyboard controller directly to the computer (via USB), it works no problem when I use Digital Performer. So I assumed that the MIDI connection has no problem. But when I start KYMA, there is NO MIDI signal showing at all.

Can anyone give me some advicce of how to trouble shoot this situation?

Is there a specific way to connect the MIDI keyboard when using KYMA?

I appreciate your time and help.

Please try connecting your M-Audio keyboard to either the USB port on the back of the Pacarana or to the 5-pin MIDI port on the MOTU.

Connecting the keyboard to your computer's USB port will not get the MIDI messages to Kyma unless you also run Kyma Connect from Delora Software and connect your computer to your Pacarana via Ethernet.

I connect my keyboard to the 5-pin MIDI port on the MOTU. It is working now.
Thank you so much.
