Kyma 7 requires Mac OS X 10.5 or newer and approximately 1.7 gigabytes of storage. Internet access is required to download the Kyma Sound Library and its supporting files and to access the support areas of this website. We recommend that you install Kyma on a computer that has at least 1 gigabyte of memory.

Before installing Kyma, please use Software Update from the Apple menu on the Mac to make sure that whichever version of the operating system you are using, it is up to date.

Kyma 7 Mac Installer

  1. Double-click Kyma-Installer.dmg — the installer window opens. If you just downloaded Kyma, you can find this file in your browser’s downloads folder.
  2. Drag the Kyma icon onto the Applications icon.
  3. Close the installer window.
  4. Eject the Kyma 7 Installer disk image.

It is not a requirement that you install the Kyma application in the Applications folder; you can install it anywhere by dragging the Kyma icon to the desired installation location.
