Kyma 7 requires macOS 10.13 or newer and approximately 8GB of storage. Internet access is required to download the Kyma Sound Library and its supporting files and to access the support areas of this website. We recommend that you install Kyma on a computer that has at least 4GB of memory.
Before installing Kyma, please make sure that your operating system is up to date:
- From the Apple menu in the corner of your screen, choose System Preferences.
- In the System Preferences window, click Software Update.
If you have not downloaded the installer yet, please download the Kyma Installer now. Next, open the installer window by double-clicking Kyma-Installer+.dmg (you can find this file in your Downloads folder).
- If your computer is running macOS 10.15 or newer, drag the upper Kyma 7++ icon onto the Applications icon.
- If your computer is running an older version of macOS, drag the lower Kyma 7+ icon onto the Applications icon.
Close the installer window and eject the Kyma 7+ Installer disk image.
Continue to Start for the first time.
