The USB-C port on the back of the Pacamara (to the right of the headphone jack) can be used in two different ways:
- when connected to a Mac or Windows computer, the Pacamara appears as an audio/MIDI interface
- otherwise, the Pacamara acts as a host and treats connected USB audio and MIDI interfaces as peripherals
NOTE: When switching a USB-C cable from one device to another, count to 10 after unplugging before you plug it into another USB-C port. For example, if you’ve been using your hub as a charging station for a laptop or a phone, waiting 10 seconds allows enough time for the higher voltage to discharge from the capacitors in the cable and/or the hub.
